About SOGUSAP (Society of Genito Urinary Surgeons of Andhra Pradesh)

The ‘Society of Genito Urinary Surgeons of Andhra Pradesh’ is formed by eminent Urologists & Genito-Urology surgeons for the research and treatment of urologic diseases.

Aims

The society is a professional association that aims at:

• Fostering the highest standard of urologic care.
• Encourage urologic research.
• Render CME (Continuing Medical Education).
• Maintain fellowship among the members.
• Publish urological bulletin and newsletter.
• Interchange ideas for urologic development through symposiums and panel discussions.

Core Objectives

The Society is established to fulfill the following goals, promoting excellence in Urology across Andhra Pradesh:

Encourage and Advance Study & Practice

To encourage and advance the study and practice of the science and art of Urology in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Corporate Body Formation

To bring together all scientific personnel who are actively interested in the practice of Urology in Andhra Pradesh into one corporate body.

Facilitate Exchange of Ideas

To facilitate exchange of ideas and experiences amongst practicing urologists in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Organize Scientific Programs

To organize and conduct scientific programs like conferences, workshops, guest lectures, orations etc.

Provide Continuing Education (CUE)

To provide for continuing Urology Education for Post Graduates, Urologists and Medical practitioners.

Maintain Liaison with Other Organizations

To endeavour to establish and maintain liaison with other Associations or Organizations in India or abroad whose objects are in keeping with those of the society.

Promote Scientific Publication

To promote publication of scientific literature pertaining to urological practice or research.

Furtherance of Objectives

To carry out any other activities which are identical or conducive to the furtherance of the objectives of the society.

Non-Commercial Basis

To do other activities if any, to attain the above objects wholly on a non-commercial basis and not motivated by profit.
